Mark Parker,CEO of Nike Inc. received compensation valued during fiscal 2009 at $7.1 million. The compensation just dropped from the prior year a bit according to an analysis of a regulatory document which is filed by the shoe and apparel company on Monday.

Nike paid Parker a nearly $1.5 million salary, up more than 6 percent from the prior year, and the value of the stock options at the time they were granted to him increased 38 percent. But the company did not grant Parker, nor any of its executives, an annual performance-related cash bonus as Nike didn't meet the financial performance goals set for the year.

As a result, the value of Parker's total compensation fell 6.7 percent for the year.Nike shares have fallen more than 10 percent in the past 52 weeks.

The cheap NIke shoe and apparel company's profit fell to 20 percent for the 2009 fiscal year but rose 7 percent after adjusting for several one-time adjustments.
